Garden Design Process

  • 1. Vision

After a garden design consultation, we will begin with a site analysis, including soil, drainage patterns, sunlight exposure, and lots of measurements.

Next, I will create a conceptual design that gives an idea of different features we want to incorporate into your garden, the color palette, and the lines of the design, along with a mood board to show the overall feeling of the space.

We will meet to review this and talk over any feedback or changes you would like to make, installation estimate, plant selections, and an ideal timeline.

  • 2. Design

Once the concept plan is approved, we will create a detailed 2D design drawn to scale.

This will include photos of plant and material selections, irrigation recommendations, and any work required before the design can be implemented.

We will meet again to go over the design, check measurements, and make any tweaks needed.

  • 3. Plan

After the design is created and approved, we will then create a Full Installation or DIY quote to bring your garden to life.

A DIY includes sourcing and delivery of all plants and materials to your property along with e-mail support from me as you implement the design.

A Full Installation takes the work (and sweat) out of the process for you. Our team delivers all materials and ensures that the design is installed properly.

Each design includes a follow-up visit one month after the installation to check on the garden and address any questions you might have to ensure you feel confident with maintaining your new garden.
